ORDER

The criminal original petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

2.It is seen from records that a complaint has already been given by the petitioner as against the third respondent and others and the same has been registered in Cr.No.130 of 2018 for the alleged offence under Sections 406, 465, 468 and 471 IPC. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the third respondent is causing life threat to the petitioner and forcing the petitioner to withdraw the complaint filed against him and that the petitioner is aged more than 57 years. A representation was also made by the petitioner to that effect to the respondent police on 14.08.2018.

4.In the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to call the parties and enquire with regard to the life threat that has been caused to the petitioner. If the respondent police finds that the third respondent is forcing the petitioner to withdraw the complaint by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

causing threat to him, the respondent police is directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

5.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
