Respondent Prayer: The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Bank to return all the four fixed deposit totally Rs.6,70,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs and Seventy Thousand) along with due interest to the petitioner, his mother, his brother and his grandmother as a legal heirs of Mr.S.Dharmalingam. O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Bank to return all the four fixed deposit totally Rs.6,70,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs and Seventy Thousand) along with due interest to the petitioner, his mother, his brother and his grandmother as a legal-heirs of Mr.S.Dharmalingam.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent Bank would submit that four fixed deposit would be returned to the petitioner along with due interest payable.
