School, S.S.Colony, Madurai, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2017. ORDER

The petitioner, who is a practising Advocate, submitted a representation on 11.04.2017 to the second respondent praying for police permission for the use of Sound Amplifier and protection for the welfare event to be held on 16.04.2017 in connection with Dr.Ambedkar's Jeyanthi celebrations. Since no orders have been passed, the petitioner came forward to file this petition.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner merely submitted an application praying for permission to use Sound Amplifier and in the event of the said permission is granted, sound generated/emanated will not exceed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the permissible decibel limits and undertake not to create any nuisance or problem for the people residing or carrying on business in the said locality. The said undertaking given, on instructions, by the learned Counsel for the petitioner is placed on record.

3. In the light of the above facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the said application dated 11.04.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible and communicate the same to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
