Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the Respondent.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property in S.No.280/1B, Old.S.No.280/1 situated in Puliyal Village, Thidakkottai Group, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District. He filed an application before the respondent to issue patta in his name and the said application is pending from 19.05.2015 and the respondent did not take any steps to pass orders on the said application. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4. In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 19.05.2015 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

notice to all the necessary parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
