ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to take appropriate departmental action against the third and fourth respondent who are police officials.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a false complaint was given against the petitioner, for which the petitioner was illegaly detained in the police station for more https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

than a day. Ultimately the complaint itself came to be closed. Thereafter the petitioner aggrieved by the illegal custody taken by the third and fourth respondent had given a complaint before the first respondent inorder to take action against them.

3. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the complaint itself has been closed since the complainant has withdrawn the same on 02.08.2018.

4. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the illegal detention made by the police,the petitioner has to seek for appropriate remedy and compensation before the appropriate authorities. The representation made by the petitioner will not in any way help the petitioner to redress his grievance. The petitioner is at liberty to file appropriate application in accordance with law and workout his remedy independently for the illegal detention made against the petitioner.

6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
