Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to provide police protection to the Petitioner and his kin and to enable them to participate in the oncoming and in all the temple and general festivals of their village and to cremate the deceased among them in the graveyard by allowing them to pay the tax to 2nd Karai of Kadamangalam by taking necessary legal action against those whoever are standing against their fundamental rights enjoyed since the time immemorial For Petitioner : Mr.Thiruppathi Chellasamy For Respondent : Mr.R.Anandharaj Additional Public Prosecutor

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent herein for the wilful disobedience of the order made in W.P.(MD).No.5228 of 2019 dated 06.03.2019.

Cont.P(MD)No.979 of 2019 No.5228 of 2019, directed the respondent to look into the representation of the petitioner and hold peace talks with the parties concerned. Accordingly, the respondent conducted the Peace Committee meeting and resolved with solutions on 08.03.2019. Therefore, the order passed by this Court is complied with by the respondent and no contempt is made out as against him 3.In view of the above, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
