O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.67 of 2019, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, based on the complaint given by him, a case been registered in Crime No.67 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 323, 379, 506(i) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(1) of the Tamil Nadu Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act. Even though, the case was registered in the month of February, 2019, investigation yet to be completed and no final report has been filed so far. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for the aforesaid relief.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the investigation is now over and the second respondent will file a final report, within a period of one month, before the concerned Jurisdictional Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the investigation is over, the second respondent is directed to file a final report, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
