Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 3 to regulate the sand quarrying in the area in Survey No.1 in the river beds of Kauveri River in the Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District by maintaining the safety distance of 500 metres from the Maelur Joint Drinking Water Wells by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2015.
