ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter namely, Thirisha D/o.Murugesan, aged about 17 years before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner.

The case of the petitioner is that her daughter/detenue aged 17 years, was found missing from 01.06.2025. Since the search of the detenue ended in vain, she lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent/Police on 02.06.2025, based on which, a case in Crime No.78 of 2025 was registered by the 2nd respondent/Police under 'girl missing'. It is the further case of the petitioner that the 3rd respondent followed the detenue for the past some months and harassed her stating that he fell in love with the detenue and apprehending that he would have kidnapped the detenue, the petitioner informed the said fact to the 2nd Page No.2 of 5
respondent/Police, but no action was taken to trace the detenue. Hence, this petition.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the missing person namely, Thirisha is produced before this Court. When we enquired the detenue. She submitted that she was not under illegal detention and she wants to go along with her mother/petitioner. 4.
Recording the statement of the detenue, the custody of the detenue was handed over to the petitioner/mother. 5.
