: Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the first respondent in Letter No.34729/832/F8/A81/PPO No.3974/2015, dated 01.10.2015 and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the first respondent to grant the family security fund, life time arrear fund and the arrear of family pension to the petitioner in respect of his mother (late) Sarrammal's Pension and life time arrear fund, arrears of family pension of his father (late) Kizhavan's pension due also. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to call for records of the first respondent, dated 01.10.2015 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to grant the family security fund, life time arrear fund and the arrear of family pension to the petitioner in respect of his mother (late) Sarrammal's Pension and life time arrear fund, arrears of family pension of his father (late) Kizhavan's pension due also.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner placed a letter No. Ka. No.010376/196/F8/F81/O.KO. No. 3974R & 4762R / 2019 - 2, dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

02.04.2019, wherein, it has been stated that retirement benefits of the petitioner's father and Family Security Fund etc., a sum of Rs.4,70,728/- has been granted to the petitioner.

3. In view of the aforesaid communication received by the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned, if any arrear amount is to be paid to the petitioner. No costs.
