ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.223 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.223 of 2019 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC by the respondent police. But so far no investigation has been conducted on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the investigation on the complaint given by the petitioner is substantially completed and final report will be filed shortly.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.223 of 2019 and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
