Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the name of the petitioner from the rowdy list in H.S.No.2 of 2019 maintained by the fourth respondent by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.11.2020. For Petitioner in both cases : Mr.S.C.Herold Singh For Respondents in both cases : Mr.R.Srinivasan Government Advocate COMMON ORDER These Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to delete the petitioners' names in the rowdy list in H.S.No.1 of 2019 and 2 of 2019 maintained by them.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in both Writ Petitions would reiterate the contentions raised in the affidavits.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents police would submit that the representations of the petitioners, dated 04.11.2020 will be considered within a period of two months.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners in both Writ Petitions, without adverting to the merits of the cases, the respondent police are directed to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 04.11.2020, seeking to remove their names from the history sheet, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioners.

5.With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
