The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, (Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level), Madurai, Madurai District to complete the trial and dispose of the case in S.T.C.No. 276 of 2022, pending on his file within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed a private complaint against the respondent for the offence under Sections 138 and 148 of Negotiable Instruments Act. The case was taken on file in S.T.C.No.276 of 2022, before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, (Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level), Madurai, Madurai District. The case is pending from 28.03.2022 and the case was posted for further proceedings on 04.07.2022. In these circumstances, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks speedy disposal of the case in S.T.C.No.276 of 2022.

3. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

On perusal of the records, it reveals that the petitioner is the complainant, he had filed a private complaint against the respondent for the offence under Sections 138 and 148 of Negotiable Instruments Act. The case was taken on file in S.T.C.No.276 of 2022, before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, (Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level), Madurai, Madurai District. The case is pending from 28.03.2022 and the accused was 2/4

present on 04.05.2022, now the case is posted for further proceedings on 17.06.2022, then adjourned the case on 04.07.2022.

In these circumstances, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Fast Track Court, Magistrate Level, Madurai, to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.276 of 2022, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
