PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2017, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court and directing the 2nd respondent to stop the electricity connection for temporary in the short period of four months in the petitioner consumer No.29300434 on the file of Karikaran Pudhur, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.03.2017, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.R.Udhayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.E.P.Venkateswarar, for Mr.S.M.S.Johnny Basha, Standing Counsel for TNEB appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Though the Writ petitioner has come with the prayer seeking a positive direction, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 04.03.2017, on merits within a time stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- "The second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.03.2017, and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
