O R D E R

The present review application is filed by the writ petitioner to review that portion of the order, where the petitioner was declined any benefit from the year 1981 until 1984. This Court has relied on the 18(1) Settlement entered between the parties and declined the benefit. Based on the Settlement, this Court has granted relief only from 1984 onwards.

2. But the petitioner is seeking other service benefits including gratuity from 1981 to 1984. When the said benefits are declined under section 18(1) Settlement, the same cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the 18(1) Settlement as per law.

3. With the above observation, this review application is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 12.03.2024 Index : yes / No Internet : yes / No LR 2/4
