ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No. 291 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same.

2. The co-accused, namely, JB.Saravanan has filed Crl.O.P(MD).No.9589 of 2023 before this Court to quash proceedings in Crime No.291 of 2019 pending on the file of the respondent police. This Court by the order dated 05.06.2023, quashed the FIR against the said Saravanan.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the benefit of the above said order can be extended to these petitioners also, since these petitioners are also standing on the same footing, on that ground, this petition can be allowed.

4. In the result, the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.291 of 2019 pending on the file of the 2/4

respondent police, is quashed as against the petitioners also, since they are also standing in the very same footing. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
