ORDER
This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground, based on the letter in O.Mu.(Pa.A 6)/42679/2016 dated 18.02.2017 issued by the respondent No.2 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2017
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that since her father died, while he was in service, she submitted an application seeking compassionate appointment and despite a communication dated 18.02.2017 sent by the 2nd respondent, so far she has not been given any appointment and her representation in that regard has also not been considered till date. Therefore, she is before this Court. 3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for the respective respondents, who submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits. 4.Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of the letter dated 18.02.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
