This writ petition has been filed directing the respondent to give any suitable employment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds by considering his application, dated 12.03.2013. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.M.Alagudevan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

3.It is stated in the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.06.2016 that despite his application, dated 12.03.2013, seeking appointment on compassionate ground, no orders have been passed by the respondents.

4.It is not known why the application is kept pending for years together without orders being passed. Hence, the respondents are directed to consider the representation dated 11.06.2016 and application dated 12.03.2013 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
