The petitioner has given a compliant, dated 01.12.2016 and has filed the present writ petition for mandamus directing the respondent to take appropriate action based on the petitioner's representation.

2.In the light of the law laid down by this Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt. Ltd., v. the Assistant Commissioner of Police, J2 Adyar Police Station, Chennai and another reported in 2016(5) CTC 577, the present petition is not maintainable. 3.However, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, the Inspector of Police, Marthandam has issued a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

summon U/s.160 Cr.P.C., to one A.John Peter and enquiry is pending.

4.Recording the same, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
