ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the Accused No.9 in Crime No.48 of 2026 on the file of the first respondent police, seeking to quash the FIR, wherein, he is alleged to have committed offences punishable under Sections 287, 125, 126(2) and 189(2) of BNS, 2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the final report had already been filed on 16.04.2026 before the Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi, and the same has not yet been taken on file.

3. Considering the above said facts, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report in accordance with law, if he is so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
