*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner filed this Writ Petition to direct the second respondent to protect the vacant site of housing board and evict the encroachments stated to have been made by the owner of Plot No.3596.

2. The report submitted by the Superintending Engineer, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Madurai Circle, indicates that the encroachment has already been removed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner confirmed the said factual position.
