O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the Contemnor / Respondent for his willful disobedience of this Court order in C.M.P(MD)No.7836 of 2025 in C.M.A(MD)No.8 of 2024 dated 09.05.2025.

2. Vide order dated 09.05.2025, this Court directed the respondent to deposit a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- towards educational expenses of his daughter and continue to pay a sum of Rs.30,000/- as monthly maintenance till the disposal of the main Civil Miscellaneous Petition. The said order has not been complied with. Challenging the same, the present contempt petition has been filed. On 28.07.2025, this Court, after hearing both parties, directed the respondent to pay Rs.30,000/- towards arrears of monthly maintenance and Rs.90,000/- towards educational expenses of the petitioner's daughter.

3. Today it is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent 2/4

that the said amount was paid on 17.08.2025 and hence the order dated 28.07.2025 has been complied with by the respondent/contemnor.

4. In view of the same, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner that if any of the amount is due including educational expenses, canvass all those points before this Court in pending C.M.A(MD)No.8 of 2024.
