The Petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to disburse forthwith the pension and other retirement benefits to the Petitioner for which she is legally entitled to. 2.Mr.T.Cibi Chakraborthy, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent/University. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.The case of the Petitioner is that the Petitioner joined the service of the respondent/ University Health centre as Medical Officer(part-time) on 1.2.1987 and finally promoted as Chief Civil Surgeon and retired from service on 30.6.2018. But till date, the pensionary and retirement benefits were not paid to the Petitioner. Hence the Petitioner has submitted a representation, dated 30.8.2018 to the respondent. Since the said representation did not evoke any response, the petitioner is before this Court for the relief stated supra.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that it is agreeable for the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the above submission, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.8.2018 and to pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided the Petitioner is able to produce the necessary documents as required by the respondent or Audit Department, so that the claim for terminal and retirement benefits may be settled at the earliest point of time. 6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
