O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to grant permission for day and night Kabadi Competition scheduled to be conducted from 01.07.2023 at evening 08.00 PM and ends on 02.07.2023 at about 10.00 PM at Vadivelkarai, Sambalkudi Pudukulam, Madurai on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 16.06.2023.
2.Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the representation that was made by the petitioner, on 16.06.2023, seeking permission to conduct day and night Kabadi Competition. Since the same was not considered so far, this writ petition has been filed. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 2/5
respondents would submit that they have been seeking permission to conduct the tournament for two days i.e., 01.07.2023 and 02.07.2023 and the time sought for conducting the tournament is in the day and night time also. He would further submit that they may be permitted to conduct the tournament on day time and by restricting the days also. 5.The learned cousnel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to conduct the Kabadi Tournament by restricting the time and date.
6.In view of the submissions made on either side, the writ petitioner is directed to file an undertaking affidavit restricting the date and time of the Kabadi tournament before the third respondent and on such filing, the third respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 16.06.2023 and pass orders imposing necessary conditions, which are reasonable, depending upon the ground situation, by following the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in the case of C.Sathasivam Vs. The Superintendent of Police, Trichy District and another, in W.P.(MD).No. 12535 of 2023, dated 24.05.2023 and in the light of the circular of the 3/5

7.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
