When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner a case in Cr.No.2 of 2017 has been registered on 15.04.2017 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002 and the third respondent was also arrested by the respondent police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent police to ensure that no harm befalls the petitioner from the third respondent.

3.With the above observation, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
