Respondents PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to give the protection for conducting Kotaivizha of Sri Pathirakalai Temple which will be held on 01.10.2018, Kappu Kattuthal, thereafter on 07.10.2018 at Sunday for special Poojas for Sri Ramasay Temple, thereafter on 09.10.2018 at about 12.00 p.m to 2.00 p.m. taking holy water from the Kutralam, following that there will be feast at about 2.00 p.m., thereafter at about 10.00 p.m Villupattu. After that at about 12.00 p.m, Samakodaivizha in petitioner's village Temple at Arunachalpatti at Kadayam Village, Ambasamithram Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2018. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for police protection for conducting the temple festival.

2. Since there was a dispute between two groups, the respondent police forwarded the complaint to the Tahsildar, Ambasamuthram, has conducted a peace committee meeting. In the peace committee meeting it was decided that the parties will have to work out their remedies before the Civil Court, which is pending suit in O.S.No.205 of 2015 and will have to abide by the judgment of the Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above, the parties will have to work out their remedies before the Civil Court and no separate orders can be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed with the above directions.
