ORDER

This writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the respondent to permit the petitioner for conducting the "Music Concert" function on 01.02.2017 from 6.30 p.m onwards on the eve of Sri Muppudathi Amman Temple festival of Odikarai Thulukapatti village, Cheranmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.It is averred in the petition that the petitioner gave a representation on 02.01.2017 to the respondent seeking permission to conduct "Music Concert" function on 01.02.2017 on the eve of Sri Muppudathi Amman Temple festival of Odikarai Thulukapatti village, Cheranmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District. But, no action has been taken on the side of the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

4.Considering the nature of the prayer, this Court issues the following order:

"The second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.01.2017 and pass orders within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
