This petition is filed for issuance of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.09.2016 and take appropriate action.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate would submit that the petitioner's son, namely Senthamilselvan, was already detained under Act 14, by the order of the Government, dated 26.09.2016 and he also produced the copy of the detention order.

3. Recording the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed. No Costs.
