ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to give police protection to the life and limp of the petitioner.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the property and already an order was passed in her favour by the Revenue Divisional Officer by his proceedings dated 03.03.2017 and there is a specific finding that the petitioner is in possession of the property. In respect of the same, the rival claimants are interfering with the possession and enjoyment of the said property. The petitioner has also given a representation to the respondent police, seeking for police protection and since no action was taken, the present petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

3.This Court is of the considered view that the matter is purely civil in nature and the petitioner has to workout her remedy before the competent civil court and get appropriate orders against the rival claimants. Police cannot interfere in the civil case.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
