************ [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner filed the writ petition to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the TASMAC Shop No.5417 situated at R.S.No.171/1, Plot No.1, Oththappatti to Thirumogur Main Road, Kalikappan II Bit Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 09 August 2017 submitted that the earlier order granting permission to open the liquor shop has been cancelled.

3.In view of the subsequent events , nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
