O R D E R

This petition is filed by the defacto complainant for a direction to the third respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No. 433 of 2021 dated 08.12.2021 as expeditiously as possible.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on a complaint given by the petitioner, police have registered a case in Crime No.433 of 2021 on 08.12.2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 362, 379 and 461 of IPC against the unnamed persons.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the police have completed the investigation and ready to file a final report while closing the FIR as 'Mistake of Fact'.

4. Once the investigation stated to have been completed, this petition seeking for expeditious completion of investigation becomes infructuous. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report to be 2/4

filed by the respondents police on receipt of notice of referred charge sheet.
