ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court that the respondent Police is harassing him under the guise of enquiry. In this regard, he has also submitted a representation dated 03.07.2024 to the Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli. However, the Superintendent of Police has not taken any action. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner is a history sheet rowdy in H.S.No.549 of 2007. Since the petitioner is having 29 cases to his credit, the respondent Police, on a routine surveillance, visited the place to ascertain the availability of the petitioner and whether he is involved in any other offence and that has been misconstrued by the petitioner.
