Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned tender notification of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.15/2017/A1 dated 31.03.2017 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to follow the ancient customs and procedure in regard to fowls and animals offered by the devotees in A/m.Pandi Muneeswarar Temple Melamadai Madurai hitherto followed by the hereditary trustees over a century.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to quash the impugned tender notification of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.15/2017/A1 dated 31.03.2017.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, as the tender process had already been finalized and the tender has been confirmed in favour of a third https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

party, pursuant to which, the third party is continuing the work as entrusted under the contract.

3. In view of the above submission, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. Hence, this petition is dismissed as infructuous, leaving it open to the petitioner to seek appropriate legal remedy, if so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
