This Writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to change the petitioner's date of birth as 29.07.1991 instead of 06.03.1991 in the 10th standard S.S.L.C. Mark statement by considering petitioner's representation, dated 20.02.2017 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Honourable Court.
2. Heard, Mr.A.Rahul, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.P.Krishnadas, learned Government Advocate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.
3. Mr.K.P.Krishnadas, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.02.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
