PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to permit the petitioner to pay the Additional Security Deposit of Rs.44,92,150/- and Rs.51,83,466/- alone, respectively, in six equal monthly installments, along with the regular current consumption charges.

2. These Writ Petitions are disposed of at the time of admission after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
3. Under the similar circumstances, this Court passed orders granting relaxation to pay the amount in six Equated Monthly Installments. One of such order was passed in the case of M/s.Venkatalakshmi Paper and Board Private 2/5
Limited, Tiruppur, rep. by its Authorised Signatory, A.Suresh vs. The Chairman, Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited and other (W.P.No.19524 of 2025, dated 28.05.2025), which was also recently followed in the case of M/s. Chola Textiles Private Limited, Dindigul vs. The Chairman, Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited and another (W.P.(MD) Nos.15913 to 15916 of 2025, dated 12.06.2025).
4. Under these circumstances, there shall be a relaxation in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner shall pay the additional security deposit in six installments, starting from 01.07.2025.
