ORDER

The petitioner has applied for a job in Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant. During police verification it has been informed that a case is pending against the petitioner in Crime No.355 of 2023. According to him the Juvenile Justice Board, Tirunelveli by its order dated 25.03.2025 has acquitted the petitioner of the charges. However, it has not been updated on the police portal and it shows the case is pending against the petitioner. Therefore he prays for a direction to the respondent police to update the police clearance in the portal based on the orders of the Juvenile Justice Board, Tirunelveli, dated 25.03.2025. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that due to technical snag, it is wrongly showing that the case is pending and it would be rectified and necessary certificate would be issued to the petitioner. 2/4
