PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Executive Engineering with effect from 05.12.2016 i.e the date on which the co-employees of the petitioner were given promotion as Executive Engineering based on the notification in Naa.Kaa.No.2080/Paa.Ku.1/2014 dated 04.01.2016 of the 2nd respondent.

2.The writ petitioner claims that he is possessing the requisite qualification.

(Mechanical) and pass appropriate orders within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While doing so, the petitioner's claim for giving effect to his promotion on retrospective basis on par with his erstwhile juniors will also be considered.
