ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.04.2019.

2. According to the petitioner, he made a representation, dated 30.04.2019 to the respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to disburse the retirement benefits with effect from 01.06.2016 and the monthly pension and accrued pension arrears from 1.06.2016, but, the same has not been considered by the respondents so far. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.

3. Though this petition has been filed to give a positive direction to the respondent Nos. 2 to 4, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.04.2019.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the 2nd respondent on merits within a specified time that may be fixed by this Court.

5. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.04.2019 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say that the petitioner shall forward a copy of the representation along with a copy of this order to the 2nd respondent, to enable him to comply with directions passed by this Court.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
