O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to pass an order directing the case in Crime No.120 of 2021 on the file of the Inspector of Police Alanganallur Police station, Alanganallur, Madurai District to be withdrawn and transfer to the fourth Respondent who is the Deputy Superintendent of Police, CBCID, Madurai Region, Madurai for further effective, sincere and unbiased investigation forthwith and conclude the same within a time framed as fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today,the learned Additional Public Prosecutor represented that after investigation the respondent police has closed the case as 'Action Dropped'.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner represented that so far he has not received any communication either from the police or from the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate.

4. In view of the fact that already negative report was filed , the petitioner is at liberty to approach the concerned jurisdiction Magistrate and work out his remedy by filing appropriate application. The 2/4

respondent police is also directed to serve notice to the petitioner with regard to the closure report within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation and direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
