O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in the Charge Memo Na.Ka.No.97202/C1/E3/2014, dated 06.04.2015 issued by the first respondent within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader

takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The first respondent is directed to pass final orders in pursuant to the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in connection with the Charge Memo Na.Ka.No.97202/C1/E3/2014, dated 06.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
