... ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The petitioner is working as salesman in the liquor outlet run by TASMAC. He was suspended from service on 05.11.2022 and reinstated on 19.05.2023. His grievance is that for the period when he was under suspension, he was not paid subsistence allowance. He has given representation dated 15.02.2023 in this regard. It is well settled that the suspended employee has to be paid subsistence allowance for the period of suspension. I am sure that the third respondent will take note of this legal position while disposing of the petitioner's representation. The third respondent shall pass order on the petitioner's representation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 27.06.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No rmi 2/3
