Prayer:This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioners by enquiring family dispute based on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent herein. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are brother-in-law and mother-in-law of the third respondent. There was a matrimonial dispute between themselves, the third respondent has lodged a complaint against the petitioners. Based on that complaint, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, on instructions, would submit that the third respondent has given a complaint against the petitioners by stating that the petitioners are retaining the jewels and money belong to the third respondent. Now, an enquiry is being conducted by the second respondent police, but the petitioners did not appear for the enquiry. At this juncture, the present petition has been filed by the petitioners.

4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and also perused the materials available on record. 5.Considering the fact that an enquiry is pending before the second respondent police, the petitioners are directed to appear before him for enquiry. During enquiry, the second respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioners. 6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
