ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey his property situated in Survey No.168/3A, with an extent of 1.10 Acre, in Puthumadam Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering his application dated 08.05.2025.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.T.Veerakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property under a registered sale deed dated 28.01.2002. Now, the petitioner
submitted an online application on 08.05.2025 seeking survey of the property and the same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the revenue documents for the subject property stand in the names of three persons and therefore, the petitioner must first file an application seeking subdivision of the property purchased by him.
5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already submitted an application for subdivision of the property. Therefore, the respondents may be directed to consider the application for subdivision and survey of the property. 6.In view of the stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the petitioner is directed to produce the acknowledgment for having submitted an online application for subdivision of the property purchased by him within a period of two
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On production of online acknowledgment, respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner seeking subdivision and survey of the property and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of submission of the acknowledgment, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
