ORDER

The petitioners herein seek a direction to the respondents to conduct survey in the petitioners' punja land situated in Survey No. 374/8C1, S.V.Mangalam, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering their application dated 07.11.2024.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.T.Veerakumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. According to the petitioners, the subject property belong to them and the patta for the said property stand in their name in patta No.

3839 and the petitioners submitted application on 07.11.2024 in application No.2024/0123/23/005330, seeking survey of the property. The said application has not been considered. Hence, the petitioners have approached this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the application for survey of the properties submitted by the petitioners will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, the respondents are directed to consider the on-line application dated 07.11.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and neighbouring land owners.

8. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
