Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the Seema Karuvela Trees (Prosopis Juli fora), Shrubs and also to take appropriate action to dredge the Sittalarai Lake, Sittalarai Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2016.

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction to the respondents to remove the Seema Karuvela Trees (Prosopis Juli Fora), and to take appropriate action to dredge the Sittalarai Lake, at Sittalarai Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District.

2.When this matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that steps are being taken to remove the Seema Karuvela Trees (Prosopis Juli for a). The said statement is recorded.

3.In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, no further order is necessary in this petition. This Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
