Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.250 of 2017.

3.However, the Mandamus as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted in the light of the law laid down by this Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt. Ltd., v. the Assistant Commissioner of Police, J2 Adyar Police Station, Chennai and another reported in 2016(5) CTC 577.

3.Hence, this petition is closed with a direction to the third respondent to proceed with the enquiry in C.S.R.No.250 of 2017 in accordance with law. No costs.
