The grievance of the petitioner is that he was born on 11.08.1978. However, in the passport obtained by him on 11.12.1995, the date of birth was wrongly mentioned as 13.06.1975. Hence, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the first respondent on 17.08.2016 to correct his date of birth which is still pending. Therefore, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition.

2.Considering the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
