Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner namely A.Rayamuthu in his house property situated at Plot No.18, Door No.406/3A, Voc Street, SRV Nagar, Tirunagar, Tiruparangundram Taluk, Madurai District based upon the representations of the petitioner dated 04.06.2019, 18.06.2019 and 25.06.2019. ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner, namely, A.Rayamuthu in his house property situated at Plot No.18, Door No.406/3A, Voc Street, SRV Nagar, Tirunagar, Tiruparangundram Taluk, Madurai District, based upon the representations of the petitioner, dated 04.06.2019, 16.06.2019 and 25.06.2019.

2.Heard Mr.S.Sivaprakash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.The petitioner, in order to get patta transfer in respect of his land at Plot No.18, Door No.406/3A, Voc Street, SRV Nagar, Tirunagar, Tiruparangundram Taluk, Madurai District, has made an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

application on 04.06.2019 in application No.2019/0105/24/139243 to the second respondent and thereafter, reminder has been sent to the first respondent as well as the second respondent on 18.06.2019 and 25.06.2019. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that if the said application of the petitioner dated 04.06.2019 is directed to be considered by the second respondent on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied. 6.I have heard Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said application of the petitioner dated 04.06.2019 would be decided by the second respondent on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

7.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 04.06.2019 and pass final order thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." No costs.
