Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order of refusal dated 11.04.2017 passed by the second respondent and quash the same by consequently directing the second respondent to accord permission for the conduct of Kabadi Tournament scheduled to take place at T.N.Pudukudi between 23.00 hours of 28.04.2017 and 11.00 hours of 29.04.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to the impugned order dated 11.04.2017 passed by the second respondent and quash the same and also to direct the second respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament on 28.04.2017 from 11.00 p.m. to 29.04.2017 11.00 a.m. in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of certiorarified mandamus.

3.It is seen from the records that the representation given by the petitioner has been rejected simply on the ground of law and order problem. The reason given by the second respondent cannot be accepted and therefore this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the impugned order dated 11.04.2017 passed by the second respondent is quashed. However, the second respondent is directed to look into the representation alleged to have been given by the petitioner afresh and pass suitable orders on merits. The second respondent is at liberty to reduce time.
