O R D E R

By consent expressed by both learned counsels, this writ petition is disposed at the time of admission itself.

2. The vehicle of the petitioner has been seized alleging illegal transportation of rice.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader, who has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents, confirms that enquiry in regard to the offence alleged is on-going.

4. By consent, it is ordered that the vehicle, which has been seized will be released to the petitioner subject to the following conditions, seeing as the respondents have no means to secure the safety or maintenance of the vehicle pending enquiry: a) The petitioner shall produce suitable documents before the first respondent in whose custody the vehicle is kept, to establish the ownership of the vehicle in question; b) the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) before the first respondent herein; c) the petitioner shall produce the vehicle as and when required by the respondents;

d) the petitioner shall not alienate the vehicle in question till https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the disposal of the proceedings before the authority concerned; e) the petitioner will co-operate in full with the enquiry that is on-going.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
